Welcome to Mrs. Klier's second grade webpage! Our class webpage will be updated at the beginning of each week so you are kept aware of class assignments and upcoming events. If you need any additional information, please contact me at school by phone, personal note, or email:

In second grade, we will continue to practice reading and writing. You will also learn about the geography of the world, ocean life, and dinosaurs. Second grade is a lot of hard work but we will also have fun while we learn!

   Monday:    P.E.        12:15 - 12:55
                                                   Tuesday:    Art     10:55 - 11:40
                                                   Wednesday:    Media      9:00 - 9:40

Music 10:00 - 10:35
Thursday: Library 11:40 - 12:00

P.E. 1:40 - 2:20

Friday : Music 8:50 - 9:25

Weekly Homework Routine

Beginning in January:

On Monday and Tuesday the students will have spelling homework plus 2 sheets of homework each night.
On Wednesday and Thursday the students will have 3 sheets of homework.
Students will be expected to write 8 sentences for Spelling.
Students will also be responsible for reading 20 minutes 3 times a week and writing a response each time. The At-Home Reading journals are due every Monday.

Coming Events:

There will be a Social Studies test on Wedneday, May 16th. the test will cover Unit 6 Lessons 1 through 5
