Welcome to ASAP!
I am very excited to begin the new school year as your child’s ASAP teacher! This fall marks my seventh year here at Bayberry, and I have loved seeing both old and new faces in the halls.
The ASAP program focuses on strengthening academic skills and strategies while developing self-confidence and a positive attitude towards school. I will work very closely with your child’s classroom teacher to ensure our ASAP lessons are scaffolding the work and skills being taught in the classroom. In addition, we will plan together to be sure no important classroom work is being missed while your child receives ASAP support. My goal for the school year is to increase your child’s skill base and sense of accomplishment while minimally impacting their regular classroom routine.
Each grade level brings its own sets of challenges to the students, and I am eager to help your child meet and exceed these new challenges.
