Q: What are registration requirements for Valley View School?

An original birth certificate or United States Passport - (we will make a copy)

Bill of sale (deed) to your home, or Rental Agreement, with names of all persons living in the home. The documents must be signed by landlord & tenant, and include an expiration date.

A utility/cable bill addressed to resident (as proof of residency).

Parent/Guardian drivers license (we will make a copy).

Health Insurance Card. (we will make a copy).

Most recent report card and standardized test scores. Parents will be asked to sign a Release of Records form when registering.

Immunization record.
Q: What time does school begin?
A: The start time for school is 8:15am. All students will be expected to be in their homerooms at 8:15am sharp. Dismissal is at 2:55pm.
Q : What is the procedure when my child is absent?
A : A parent should call the VV Main Office, (908-755-4422), report the absence and at that time and request homework. Parents are required to produce an excuse of absence note when their child returns to school.
FYI-------Teachers have assignments on the VV website.
Q : What is the best way to contact a teacher?
A : Email, written note, or telephone are all suitable ways to contact a teacher.
Q: How do I get to Bayberry from Valley View?
A: Bayberry is about 5 minutes away (<3 miles).
