Homework Assignments:
Please return a signed Friday folder on Monday. Week one of the February reading calendar is due Monday, February 6th. The helping verb worksheet is due Monday.
Social studies chapter 5 lesson 2 comprehension questions are due Monday.
The multiple-choice answers and constructed response entry for "Wild Weather" are due Wednesday, February 8th. To access the sample story and response discussed in class please use the language arts tab. Another copy of the rubric may also be downloaded from this page.
Please complete Wordly Wise lesson 9 exercises for Tuesday, February 7th. The test is scheduled for Friday, February 10th.
The first paragraph of the biography book report is due Monday, February 6th. Unit 4 Week 3/ Challenge 14: Spelling exercises are due Tuesday, February 7th. Students working with the class words must complete the spelling packet. It is four pages in length. Students working with the challenge words must complete three spelling activities from the handout entitled Spelling Challenge Homework Guidelines. Another copy can be downloaded from my language arts page. Also, both tests are scheduled for Thursday, February 10th.
Study Island Reading Assignments:
Thanks to a generous donation, fifth grade is now able to access the reading activities offered on Study Island. Different passages and questions will be assigned on a regular basis in order to further review important reading skills.
Please complete the reading activity on context clues by 8 am Wednesday, February 8th.
