Before & After Care

The Watchung Borough School District is proud to offer a Before and After School Program to our students hosted by Right at School. The Programs will run daily at Bayberry Elementary School on days when school is in session.

Inclement Weather

If the district is closed for an inclement weather day, Before Care and After Care Programs are cancelled for that day. If a delayed opening is announced, Before Care is cancelled.

If the district announces an early dismissal from school due to inclement weather, After Care will be cancelled. All students will leave school at the end of the school day based on the early dismissal schedule. Parents of children who participate in After Care will be notified to determine whether their child will take the bus home or be picked up at the early dismissal time.

If weather conditions deteriorate after school hours while the After Care Program is in operation, the After Care Program may close early. The After Care Program Coordinator will reach out to parents and emergency contacts on record to pick up their child.
