Homework-Free and Assessment-Free Zones
In an effort to enhance student wellness and ensure a culturally vibrant, inclusive school community that values diversity, equity, and empathy, the district has established formal homework-free and assessment-free zones for all students.
Homework-free zones will occur during the recesses and holidays listed below.
Assessment-free zones will occur on the first day after each recess, on each holiday, and on the first school day after each holiday.
